US Economy Has American's Looking to Live Abroad

With the current state of the US economy, Americans are looking at other countries that are affordable to live along with jobs being plentiful. A lot of factors are to be considered before considering a big move to another country. Here is some countries that is surviving bad economic times.

Costa Rica is a country where the economy has always been reasonable to live in and starting a business is very easy to do just by using a tourist visa. A lot of North Americans are moving here because it is lesser prone to war and retiring here is very beneficial. In America the average American receives around $15,000 a year to live on or less with Social Security. In Costa Rica you can live comfortably compared to struggling to make ends meet. You have the same rights as Costa Ricans when it comes to buying land except the coastal region. Try renting first to see if you like it with rent being as low as $200 a month.

Another country that Americans and Canadians are moving to is Mexico. The economy is rebounding, there is no personal debt, and the US dollar will buy roughly 30% more of everything. A lot of American retirees have moved to Mexico and a lot places look like some suburbs in the States. In some places, you could even have maids and gardeners when in America that would be only for people who had money.

One other place that is reasonable to live is Latin America. Besides Costa Rica, Latin America has Chile, Brazil, and Uruguay being leaders in a stable economy and cheap housing. There are houses being rented at $300 a month that is worth $200,000. Food and items are very cheap to buy and so is work if you needed to hire employees. A lot of countries will give tax breaks and incentives if you decide to permanently stay. If you are at the retirement age or have a certain income bracket you exceed, you could receive additional incentives also.

More and more Americans are looking for more ways to have a healthier, less stressful, and cheaper way of living by moving to another country.
